Sefer Nechmad, commentary on Perek Shirah with the text, by Rabbi Moshe Trani (the Mabit). [c. 1840], allegedly printed in Warsaw [though the imprint appears falsified and the book was likely printed elsewhere in Russia–Poland]. Rare. [1], IV–XX leaves, partially on bluish paper. The present work was compiled from the Mabit’s Beit Elokim and issued here for the first time as an independent book. With the holy stamp of Rabbi Mordechai David Teitelbaum. Incomplete copy. Rabbi Mordechai David Teitelbaum (d. Kislev 1920) – son of Rabbi Nachum Tzvi of Drohobych (brother of the Yitav Lev and grandson of Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum, the Yismach Moshe). He served as Av Beit Din of Stutchin and succeeded his father as Av Beit Din of Drohobych. In 1902, he immigrated to Eretz Yisrael and settled in Meron and Safed. Rebound in later binding with gilt lettering, leaves B–C missing, upper edge of title page damaged, overall good–fair condition.
