Sefer Divrei HaYamim LeMoshe Rabbeinu and Ma’aseh Tovia, translated into Yiddish. Vilna, 1854. Sefer Divrei HaYamim LeMoshe Rabbeinu A”H – the chronicles of Moshe Rabbeinu and his passing, the passing of Aharon A”H, and Ma’aseh Tovia ben Toviel, attributed to Rabbi Avraham Azulai, with a Yiddish translation by Rabbi Shlomo Adahan. Printed by Yosef Reuven ben Raam, Vilna, 1854. 66 leaves. The Yiddish translation is vocalized and appears beneath the Hebrew text. This is a complete copy; the bibliographers of the Hebrew Book recorded only an incomplete one. Based on the work first published in Constantinople in 1516. The volume contains a collection of Midrashim and popular stories, as well as Sefer Tovia ben Toviel, originating from the Apocrypha. The attribution to Rabbi Avraham Azulai and Rabbi Shlomo Adahan is mistaken. Half-leather binding, slightly loose spine, minor stains, good condition.
