Printed by the Argelbrand Brothers, Warsaw, 1879. At the end: Pri Megadim (Argelbrand Brothers, Warsaw, 1877). Vol. I: Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim, siman 1–241: [2], 202, 3; [1], 76, 15 leaves. Vol. II: Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim, siman 242–528: [2], 171; 4–7; 16–24; 45 leaves. Vol. III: Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim, siman 529–697: [2], 243; 8–12; 34; 60 leaves. Each volume has two title pages. Additional title page for Pri Megadim. The personal copy of the famous holy Rabbi Alter Biederman of Sosnowiec–Lelov, bearing numerous stamps and one autograph signature in his own handwriting. Stamps are from both his period in Jerusalem and his later years in Poland. In one place, he signed his name in pencil. The holy Rabbi Avraham Betzalel Natan Nota Biederman (“Rabbi Alter” of Sosnowiec, 1862–1933) – son of Rabbi Elazar Menachem Mendel of Lelov and brother of Rabbi David Tzvi Shlomo (“Reb Duvid’le”). After returning from Jerusalem to Poland, he served as Admor in Sosnowiec. His name spread far and wide as a miracle worker and a man who served Hashem with awe and trembling. Even abroad, he preserved the customs, dress, and ways of Jerusalem. Eighteen months after his passing, his body was brought to burial in Jerusalem, where the Chevra Kadisha testified that it was found whole and pure. 3 magnificent volumes.
