Notebook of Torah Novellae on Tractate Bava Metzia in the Hand of the Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Rozovsky – With Three Passages That Were Never Printed – 1950s ”ובשם הגרי”ז שליט”א שמעתי” Presented here is a notebook, from which 13 pages are written in the handwriting of Rabbi Shmuel Rozovsky. Two passages on p. 10, as well as the first passage on p. 12, appear not to have been printed. The notebook was written in the 1950s, between Kislev 1953 and 29 September 1959 (9 Tishrei 5720), as on p. 9 Rabbi Shmuel writes: “See Even HaEzel of HaGaon Rabbi Isser Zalman zt”l ” (Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer passed away on 16 December 1953, 10 Kislev 5714), and on the first page of the notebook he writes: “And in the name of the Griz, shlita , I heard” (Rabbi Yitzchak Zev Soloveitchik of Brisk, who passed away on 29 September 1959, 9 Tishrei 5720). 13 written pages. 20 cm.
