At the beginning of the letter, Rabbi Eibshitz thanks Rabbi Hadaya for sending him his new sefer Yaskil Avdi, part III. In the continuation of the letter, Rabbi Eibshitz responds to a critique that Rabbi Hadaya had raised against him in the sefer. Part of the letter is missing.
