20 leaves! Seder HaLimud Achar Ha'Achilah, in the Holy Handwriting of Maran the Ben Ish Chai, Rabbi Yosef Chaim of Baghdad. A complete booklet in the handwriting of the Ben Ish Chai, on the topic of learning at the table after eating. [20] leaves, containing [39] pages in the handwriting of Maran the Ben Ish Chai. At the opening of the booklet appears a section of remembering Eretz Yisrael and the Beis HaMikdash at the time of eating, together with a Yichud formula from the Arizal, including verses and prayers for remembrance of the Mikdash, as cited in Ben Ish Chai (First Year, Behar). Further on appears an order of study, most of which was incorporated into his Sefer Leshon Chachamim, vol. I, sec. 2. The present text includes additions from the Zohar and the Arizal, words omitted by the printer, as well as expanded spellings of the Divine Names and their permutations. The complete text as preserved here was published in the Torah journal Zechor LeAvraham (Holon, 2004), pp. 400–405. Attached to the leaves are certifications from Rabbi Yaakov Tzion Zamir of the “Center for Babylonian Jewish Heritage” and from Rabbi Yitzchak Yeshaya Weiss identifying the handwriting as that of the Ben Ish Chai. Elegant leather binding with gold decorations, slight stains, overall very good condition.
