Eastern manuscript, two booklets; the first is titled “Mevo Pesachim, ” and the second is “She’elot U’Teshuvos” on matters of Kabbalah by the renowned Kabbalist Rabbi Yosef Irgas, author of Shomer Emunim HaKadmon, with a leaf by the Kabbalist Rabbi Avigdor Azriel, disciple of the Rashash. [16]; [13] leaves, Sephardic manuscript, with copies of Rabbi Yosef Irgas’ works Orot VeKelim and Questions and Responsa. With [1] additional leaf in the handwriting of a Moroccan scribe, copied from the writings of Rabbi Avigdor Azriel, author of Zimrat HaAretz. The Gaon HaMekubal Rabbi Yosef Irgas (1685–1730) – among the foremost Mekubalim and Rabbanim of Italy, and one of the leading opponents of the Sabbatean movement. A disciple of Rabbi Shmuel Di Pas in Livorno and Rabbi Binyamin HaKohen Vitali. Head of the Yeshiva in the city of Pisa, Rebbe of the 'Yad Malachi'. He gained particular notoriety when he expelled Nechemya Chayon from Livorno and composed polemical works against him. Author of the Responsa 'Divrei Yosef' and the Sefer 'Shomer Emunim', considered a foundational Sefer in the study of Kabbalah, and additional Sefarim. The Gaon HaMekubal Rabbi Avigdor Azriel (died 1797) – a distinguished disciple of the HaMekubal HaEloki, the renowned Rabbi Shalom Mizrachi Sharabi (the Rashash), among the sages of the Mekubalim in the Beit El Yeshiva in Jerusalem, and Dayan in the Beis Din headed by the Mahari”t Algazi. Author of the Sefarim 'Zimrat HaAretz' and 'Kesef HaKippurim', published in 1892. Without binding, loose spine, leaves and gatherings detached, stains, wormholes, blemishes to some corners, fair condition.
