”....והיו עיניך רואות את מוריך ” Unrecorded photograph of the great Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Buksbaum, Av Beis Din and Rosh Mesivta of Galanta, HY”D — on the reverse, a dedication in the handwriting of his son, the holy Tzaddik Rabbi Yechiel Yosef Buksbaum, HY”D, written to his friend, the holy Tzaddik Rabbi Yona Forst, Rosh Yeshivas Nitra. למזכרת אהבה ולאות ידידות לאהובי ידיד נפשי צמיד בקירות לבבי מו”ה יונה פארסט נ”י, בברכת כל טוב ובהוקרה – יוסף בוקסבוים The greatness of Rabbi Yechiel Yosef Buksbaum can be learned from a letter written about him by the Minchas Elazar of Munkacs to the community of Rehte, when recommending him that they accept him upon themselves as Rav: “…and beyond his Torah and his fear of Heaven, behold he has learned the ways of Hashem, and to benefit people, to lead them along with calmness of mind and understanding of one who fears Heaven… and you shall heed my voice, and you shall delight in the richness of your souls, and you shall succeed in all your affairs” (Igros Shapirin, letter 160). 8 cm.
