Seder Rav Amram Gaon, Two Parts in One Volume – Warsaw 1865 – First Edition – Copy of HaGaon Rabbi Yaakov Shalom Sofer, Dayan in Budapest Bound together with Sefer Amudei Shesh by the author of the Klei Yakar, Warsaw, 1875. Signature on the title page: ”חנני אלקי' בזה הק' יעקב שלום סופר בהגאון מהרח”ס [=רבי חיים סופר] שליט”א” Rabbi Yaakov Shalom Sofer (1854–1921), son of the renowned Gaon Rabbi Chaim Sofer, author of Machaneh Chaim (Av Beis Din of Ungvar and Raavad of Budapest, disciple of the Chasam Sofer). Author of Toras Chaim on Shulchan Aruch, Orach Chaim, four parts. From 1886 he succeeded his father as Dayan in the Beis Din of Budapest, alongside serving as Maggid Shiur in the Chevras Shas. From his writings, the Sefer Yeshovev HaSofer on Tractate Sanhedrin and responsa was published (Jerusalem, 1976). Additional stamp on the title page: ”מנחם בלאמו”ר שא”ש” Seder Rav Amram Gaon: [3], 55, [1], 59 leaves. Amudei Shesh: 65 leaves. Good condition. Stains. Original worn binding.
