Sefer Chok Yaakov, Commentary on Shulchan Aruch, Laws of Pesach, by Rabbi Yaakov Reischer, Av Beis Din of Prague and Metz – Dessau 1696 – First Edition – One of the Fundamental Sefarim on the Laws of Pesach, Frequently Cited by the Poskim Copy of Rabbi Dr. Moshe Moritz Güdemann, Chief Rabbi of Vienna. Signature on the title page: ”משה גידעמאן” Apparently an incomplete copy. In most or all copies, a Pamphlet by the author titled “Solet LeMincha” was bound at the end of the Sefer, with a separate title page, containing glosses and additions by the author and his son to his earlier works “Minchat Yaakov” and “Torat HaShelamim.” The Pamphlet contains about twenty leaves. In the present copy, the Pamphlet “Solet LeMincha” was not bound in its entirety; however, its title page alone was bound at the end of the Sefer, and on its verso appears the author’s introduction to the Pamphlet. 80, [1] leaves. 19 cm. Most leaves in good condition. Tears at the inner margins of the title page, repaired with paper. Stains. Old worn binding.
