Responsa Keser Kehunah, by Rabbi Yitzchak Avraham Katz – Zolkova, 1805 – First Edition – Copy of Rabbi Yechezkel Biderman, Av Beis Din of Węgrów and Wyszogród – With Glosses by HaGaon Rabbi Yaakov Dovid Biderman, Author of Hagahot Mahari”d on Sifra, and by His Son HaGaon Rabbi Moshe Yechezkel Including responsa from the Maggid of Kozhnitz and from the Ba’al HaHafla’ah in Siman 76. On the title page appear various ownership stamps: stamps of: ”בית המדרש הגדול דק”ק מעזריטש”, and the stamp of Rabbi: ”יחזקאל בהרב מ”ו יעקב דוד נ”י הגאבדק”ק ווישיגראד” along with several handwritten glosses. Apparently, at least one of the glosses is in the handwriting of the father of Rabbi Yechezkel, HaGaon Mahari”d – Rabbi Yaakov Dovid Biderman (1806–1863; Encyclopedia of Chassidism, II, p. 260), a disciple of Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Shlomo Leib of Lenchna and Harav HaKadosh of Kotzk. He served as Av Beis Din in Mezritch, Kozhnitz, and Wyszogród, and was a descendant of the Pnei Yehoshua and the Mageni Shlomo. He authored several Sefarim and became well known for his work Hagahot Mahari”d on Torat Kohanim (Sifra) with the commentary of Rabbi Shimshon of Falaise. His son, HaGaon Rabbi [Moshe] Yechezkel Biderman, served as Av Beis Din of Węgrów and Av Beis Din of Wyszogród (d. 1907). [1], 75 leaves. Two leaves missing at the end of the Sefer. 36 cm. Fair condition. Stains and wear. Light worming. Large tears on the title page with damage to the text, restored with a facsimile completion of the title border. Small tears at the margins of several leaves. New binding.
