Segulah Sefer with the Signature of Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Pinchas of Borsa – Ayelet Ahavim (Lvov, 1888) Ayelet Ahavim, commentary on Shir HaShirim, by the Mekubal Rabbi Shlomo HaLevi Alkabetz, Rebbe and brother-in-law of the Ramak. Lvov, 1888. Second edition. The exampler of Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Pinchas Hager of Borsa, son of Harav HaKadosh the Imrei Baruch of Vizhnitz. A Segulah Sefer, as written by Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Elazar Tzvi of Komarna in his approbation: “Certainly whoever takes this holy Sefer into his home will have it as an excellent protection and will be saved from every trouble.” [1], 5–68, 2, 2 leaves. With the text. With important approbations, including those of Harav HaKadosh of Shinova, Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Elazar Tzvi of Komarna, and Harav HaKadosh Mahari”d of Belz. With the signature of Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Pinchas of Borsa, with his ownership inscription, with his stamps, and with the stamp of his son Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Chaim Ben Tzion. The approbation leaves are bound at the end of the Sefer. Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Pinchas Hager of Borsa (1867–13 Adar 1941) – son of Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Baruch Hager, the Imrei Baruch of Vizhnitz, and grandson of Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Menachem Mendel, the Tzemach Tzaddik of Vizhnitz. Renowned as an outstanding scholar and Mekubal; his Avodas Hashem was extraordinary and he distributed all his money to charity. He served as Admor in Borsa, Vishova, and Sighet. He passed away in Sighet in 1941 (Encyclopedia of Chassidus, I, p. 530). Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Chaim Ben Tzion Hager (circa 1900–25 Iyar 1943) – son of Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Pinchas of Borsa. After the passing of his father, Rabbi Chaim Ben Tzion filled his place as Admor in Sighet. In his first marriage he was the son-in-law of his uncle Rabbi Shalom Rokeach of Skole, and in his second marriage the son-in-law of Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Yechiel Ashkenazi of Alesk – United States. He was murdered Al Kiddush Hashem in the Auschwitz extermination camp. Simple binding. Stains and wormholes. Tear on one side of the leaves. Fair–good condition.
