Postcard by HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Avraham Yaakov Gordon, Av Beis Din of Pinsk, Mashgiach of the “Toras Chesed” Yeshiva in Brisk, Author of Nefesh Chayah – Sent to the Administration of the “Vaad HaYeshivos” in Vilna – Brisk, Iyar 1933 A pained and indignant letter protesting that the Vaad HaYeshivos had not sent Gemaras and study Sefarim to the Toras Chesed Yeshiva in Brisk, while Gemaras had been sent to the Kamenitz Yeshiva. He also complains about the lack of response to his previous letters, noting that they had not even bothered to reply that they were unable to send Gemaras, in which case the Yeshiva could have obtained them from other sources.
