Manuscript, Thick Chabad Bichel — Copying of Maamarim of the Rebbe Rashab of Lubavitch from the Years 1883–1908 Before us is a large Bichel, containing dozens of Maamarim of the Rebbe Rashab of Lubavitch, including the Pamphlet HaAvodah, the Pamphlet Etz HaChaim, glosses on the Siddur Torah .Or, edition of 1892, and a letter to Rabbi Lavut. At the beginning of the Bichel is a detailed index. The Bichel was in the possession of Harav HaChasid Reb Yosef Chein, among the elder Chassidei Lubavitch in Netanya, and among the students of Tomchei Temimim in Lubavitch. Harav HaChasid Reb Yosef Chein (1896–1965) was among the elder Chassidei Chabad. For several years he served as Rav in Kfar Yechezkel and as a regional Rav in the Jezreel Valley. In his later years he lived in Netanya, where he served as the chief Shochet U’Bodek of the city, and was among the early Chassidei Chabad who worked to establish and strengthen the Chabad community there. He passed away childless. In his youth, between the years 1904–1913, he studied at the Yeshivah Tomchei Temimim in Lubavitch, in the court of the Admor Rashab. On the final leaf Rabbi Chein recorded the Yahrzeit dates of his relatives. [1], 3–403 leaves. 21 cm. Moderate condition. Numerous wormholes. Stains. Rebound binding.
