Receipt Signed by the “Saba, ” Rabbi Yisrael Dov Odesser. Jerusalem, 1968 Receipt for a medical assistance payment from the fund of the Vaad Kollel Volhynia in Jerusalem, issued to the “Saba, ” the well-known Chassid Rabbi Yisrael Dov Odesser, among the elders of the Breslov Chassidim in the previous generation and leader of the “Na Nach” community, with his handwritten signature. In his youth he drew close to Breslov Chassidus and became a disciple of Rabbi Yisrael Karduner and other elders of the Breslov Chassidim. He became widely known late in his life following the mysterious letter written on a note containing the phrase “Na Nach Nachma Nachman M'Uman, ” and is known as “the Saba Baal HaPetek.” Very good condition.
