The Chassidic controversy in Hungary: printed anonymously by the Chassidim against Rabbi Eliezer Löw upon his appointment as Rabbi in Ungvar. As an open opponent of Chassidus, his appointment as Rabbi in Ungvar aroused strong opposition among the Chassidim. Includes two letters: a letter from Rabbi Elazar Löw in which he sharply attacks the Chassidim in general and the famous Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch of Liska in particular; and a letter of response from Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch of Liska.
