[1] leaf, thin paper, with the seal of “Beis Din Tzedek of the Holy Community of Munkács and its environs” and the signatures of the members of the Beis Din: Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch Shapira, Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Chaim Elazar Shapira, Rabbi Shmuel Zanvil Kahana, and Rabbi Moshe Spitzer. Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch Shapira (1850–1913) — disciple of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz and Rabbi Yechezkel Shraga of Shinova, and among the foremost Rabbis of Hungary. He served as Rav of Munkács (then in Hungary, today in Ukraine) and as the second Admor of the Munkács dynasty. Author of Darkei Teshuvah on Shulchan Aruch, Tzvi Tiferes, and other works. Following his passing, he was succeeded by his only son, the Admor Rabbi Chaim Elazar Shapira, author of Minchas Elazar. Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Chaim Elazar Shapira , author of Minchas Elazar of Munkács (1872–1937) — among the leading Geonim of his generation, one of the foremost leaders of Israel, and a renowned Mekubal. Son of the Darkei Teshuvah and grandson of Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Shlomo Shapira of Munkács, descendant of the Bnei Yissaschar. He was known for his uncompromising zeal and his struggle against the Zionists and those whom he viewed as undermining religion. He established communities and led numerous campaigns on behalf of Torah and Judaism. Author of many works in all areas of Torah literature, including Shu”t Minchas Elazar, Shaar Yissaschar, Nimukei Orach Chaim, and Divrei Torah. Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Aharon Weiss (1851–1933) — Av Beis Din and Admor in Bendikovitz and Bresvigf, and from 1915 served as Raavad of Munkács. Disciple of his father, HaGaon Rabbi Shmuel Tzvi Weiss, Raavad of Munkács; of his brother, Harav HaKadosh the Imrei Yosef, first Admor of Spinka; and of his uncle Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Weiss, Av Beis Din of Solyva and Raavad of Munkács. He was devoted to the Tzaddikim of Zidichov and also traveled to the Divrei Chaim of Sanz and the Admor of Belz. He received rabbinic ordination from Harav HaKadosh the Yitav Lev, Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Mannheimer, and Rabbi Shlomo Ganzfried. Some letters faded or erased, fold marks, stains, small tears and defects.
