Regulations of Chevrat Mishnayos of the Holy Community of Frysztak. The register is written in a fine hand and bears the stamp of the Chevrah. The final page contains a list of the founders, Gabbaim, and auditors of the Chevrah, together with its stamps. An additional note records that the information was copied “as recorded in the large register.” The printed leaves are notices, measuring 17×24 cm and 7×10 cm, sent to members of the Chevrah informing them on whose behalf they were to study Mishnayos. They state that the learning was for the elevation of the soul of 'Maran Harav HaTzaddik Menachem Mendel [of Frysztak], Ben Harav HaTzaddik Aryeh Leibish, ztz”l.' Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Menachem Mendel Halberstam (1870–1926) — son of Rabbi Aryeh Leibish of Dukla, son of Rabbi Dovid of Kashanov, grandson of Rabbi Chaim of Sanz. Renowned as a holy man and a righteous foundation of the world. He served as Av Beis Din of Frysztak and succeeded his father as Av Beis Din and Admor of Dukla. He was the son-in-law of Rabbi Yechezkel Shraga Halberstam. Brown paper binding. Fold marks and short tears along the fold lines, stains. Good condition.
