The exampler of Harav HaKadosh of Sadigura and of Harav HaTzaddik Rabbi Yisrael Freund. Siddur Rabbi Yaakov Emden, Parts I–II, Polish Rite (Nusach Ashkenaz). Lemberg, 1859.  Siddur 'פלטין בית אל העומד על שבעה עמודי שמים ונקרא אור שבעת הימים' and Part II,   'ארמון עיר האלקים שערי שמים ונקרא אור החמה', with the commentary of Rabbi Yaakov Emden according to the revealed and hidden Torah, the intentions of the Ari, and with the laws of prayer. Exampler with the stamp of Harav HaTzaddik Rabbi Yisrael Freund, Av Beis Din of Szaszrégen, and the signature of his son. Lemberg, 1859. Two parts in one volume. [1], 7 [recte: 36], 41–226, 85, [1] leaves. Leaves 37–40 lacking. On the title page of Part II, the place of printing is given as Korets, but in Latin letters it is stated that the Sefer was printed in Lemberg. On the front endpaper is the stamp of Rabbi Yisrael Freund, and an ownership inscription signed by his son, Rabbi Dovid Yehudah Freund: “B”H. This Siddur is from the library of the holy court of the Admorim of Sadigura, zy”a, in Sadigura, which was taken from the abandoned property during the First World War by a certain soldier while passing through there, and brought here and gave as a gift to my revered father, HaGaon Rabbi Yisrael Freund zt”l HY”D. D. Y. Freund.” HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Yisrael ben Rabbi Moshe Freund, HY”D, Rav of Szaszrégen (circa 1885–1944) — a Gaon in Torah, a man of many accomplishments and broad spirit, a sharp and profound scholar and renowned Darshan. Among the leading Rabbis of Hungary and among the heads of the Rabbinical Committee of the Central Bureau of the God-fearing in Zimborgen. He was the foremost disciple of Rabbi Moshe Hirsch Fuchs, Av Beis Din of Grosswardein, author of Yad Ramah, and a disciple of Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Breuer, Av Beis Din of Frankfurt am Main, and of Rabbi Simcha Bunim Sofer, the Shevet Sofer of Pressburg. He was the son-in-law and successor of Rabbi Moshe Dovid Sofer, Av Beis Din of Szaszrégen and its environs, and maintained a Yeshivah there. Rabbi Yisrael was murdered Al Kiddush Hashem together with his wife in Auschwitz on the 15th of Sivan, 1944. His Chiddushim were published in the Sefer She’eiris Yisrael. Rabbi Dovid Yehudah ben Rabbi Yisrael Freund (d. 1985) — served during his father's lifetime as the junior rabbi of Szaszrégen. After surviving the Holocaust, he served as Gaavad of Szaszrégen, immigrated to Eretz Yisrael, and served as a rabbi in several communities in Netanya and Jerusalem. Author of Pardes Dovid.
