[1], 109, [1], 139 leaves. 33 cm. With the signature of Rabbi Shimon Weil and the stamps of HaGaon Rabbi Moshe Halberstam, Rosh Yeshivah of Divrei Chaim–Tchakava. Inside the binding are pasted German leaves from Johann Ludwig Gottfried's Fortgesetzte Historische Chronik. Rabbi Yaakov Poppers Katz (circa 1670–1740) — among the leading Poskim. His work Shev Yaakov is a foundational responsa Sefer. He served as Av Beis Din and Rosh Yeshivah in Frankfurt am Main. Among his disciples were Rabbi Yosef Steinhardt (author of Shu”t Zichron Yosef and Av Beis Din of Fürth, among the leading Rabbis of his generation), Rabbi Elchanan Ashkenazi, author of Siddurei Taharah, and others. He administered an oath to the Ramchal (on his journey from Padua to Amsterdam) before a Beis Din that he would not publish his Kabbalistic writings. Rabbi Moshe Halberstam (1932–2006) — son of the Admor of Tchakava. Moreh Tzedek and Dayan of the Badatz of the Eidah HaChareidis, Rosh Mesivta at Yeshivas Beis Yosef Tzvi, successor to his father as head of Yeshivas Divrei Chaim–Tchakava, and author of Shu”t Divrei Moshe. He guided and ordained hundreds of Rabbanim. Brother of Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Meir Halberstam, Admor of Tchakava–Bnei Brak, and Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Naftali Halberstam, Admor of Tchakava in Jerusalem.
