Byzantine Iron Hanging Lamp
10th-12th century AD
An iron hanging oil lamp with a broad funicular trough with narrow curved nozzle; tall curved rectangular bar to the rear with pierced ox-head finial; three twisted wire rods with suspension hook above. 257 grams, 20cm (8"). Fine condition.
