Adorned with an artichoke-shaped finial, side handles in Neo-Rococo style, geometric Neoclassical motifs, and an engraved aristocratic heraldic emblem. André Aucoc was court silversmith to Louis-Philippe of Orlיans, Napoleon III, and Empress Eugיnie, and was awarded prestigious medals, including the Legion of Honour.
