The certificate is printed on the official document paper of the ”Elder of the Jews in LITZMANNSTADT Mordechai Chaim Rumkowski”, and it indicates that the girl Dobryś Gumprycht (born 28.2.1929), successfully completed her studies at school 19A, in September 1941. Signed in the lower margin with the signature - the hand of the school principal Rachel Wener, and four official ink seals of Mordechai Chaim Rumkowski (in four languages: Hebrew, Yiddish, German and Polish). In the first years after the establishment of the Lodz ghetto, a comprehensive education system operated there, which included elementary and high schools, religious and vocational schools, day camps and orphanages. The popular school for girls 19th grade was located in house number 21 on Franciszkańska street, and its students were aged 7-15. In October 1941 (about a month after the awarding of the certificate in front of us) the school was closed. The names Dobrys Gumpricht (with the same date of birth as appears on the certificate), and Rachela Wanner (born on June 21, 1903) are registered in the central database of the names of Holocaust victims at Yad Vashem. According to the registry, both were prisoners in the Lodz ghetto and most likely perished in the Holocaust Auschwitz. The only known Document, MEGA RARE!!!
