An olive wood table stand with the pin symbol of the 'First Hatching' which is stamped on the stand and a metal plate with the inscription: 'To Lieutenant Pinchas Ramon of the soldiers and commanders of the First Hatching Battalion', 1961. Dimensions: 10X6X1.5 cm. - גדוד 51 – גדוד הבוקעים הראשון , נקרא לזכר העובדה שהיה הגדוד הראשון שהבקיע את הדרך לנגב שהיה נצור בעת מלחמת העצמאות (מבצע יואב). הגדוד היה במקור הגדוד הראשון בחטיבת גבעתי 5, וביצע את מעברו לגולני בספטמבר 1956, מספר שבועות לפני מבצע קדש. סמל הגדוד מורכב מעץ החטיבה שבמרכזו חרב פיפיות, המסמלת את רוח הלחימה של הגדוד. מתוך אתר 'ויקיפדיה'.
