Where was Disappeared the young Lehi fighter Alexander Rubovitz - Alexander Rubovitz (17 October 1929 - May 6, 1947) was an active Lehi activist who was murdered by British military personnel. The murder caused shock and turmoil in the Jewish community and outside it at the end of the British Mandate in Palestine.
When the British officer, Farran, was released by a British court for "lack of evidence" and the British took him out of the country, Lehi tried to assassinate him on English soil, sending a package of explosives prepared by Yaakov Heruti to the Farran family's home in England. : "Collection of Shakespeare's Writings", opened by his brother Rex, and killed him.
