ROBOTIC WELDER OTC DR4200 3 STATION WELDING ROBOT - ROBOTIC WEDER The robot is an OTC DR4200 3 station robotic welding system   Incorporating   1 X 6 axis robot mounted onto a 3 metre slide 2 X external rotating drives , 3 metre between head stock and tail stocks 350 amp pulse welding equipment with seam tracking and touch sensing options Automatic torch cleaning station Complete in cell with base fabrication, automatic doors and integral fume extraction system BACKGROUND INFO  Machine new around 2000, but only used for ONE year and company went into receivership. Original cost we understand to have been £140,000. Was purchased in 2003 for around £45000 and spent approx. a further £25,000 on various upgrades including brand new software. We also used for less than 1 year,   has been left ever since, but been powered up to maintain operating prowess. It was always kept because we were sure we would get a suitable job for it, but it never happened and it is too good a machine for it to be wasted any further. Last year, we thought we had sold the machine through the original supplier to us, for £40,000. He came to site and had the machine up and running again with a view to verify its ability to function correctly to his customer, however, at the last minute,   the customer had his purchase funds for expenditure withdrawn, so the sale could not proceed. I hope that you will see from the photo`s that this is a potential fantastic machine, which has seen very little use from new. I am also given to believe that the engineer from last year who worked on the machine and bringing it up to working standard, would be available and happy to assist if necessary, with removal and commissioning, but that would be something that any prospective purchaser would have to arrange and agree to directly. Due to the overall size, there is a requirement to remove a section of the machine to get it out of the factory and then be reattached on site. This would also make it easier to transport. Its overall footprint is about 25ft. x 15ft.  ** The purchaser would have the responsibility of removal from it`s current sited position. ** Although we believe the machine is in excellent condition, we are not able to provide warranty or liability and with this in mind, we have set a very very low reserve.
