Welcome to our new auction: a beautiful and rare collection of original art from around the world. Includes German Expressionism, engravings by Goya, Kathe Kollwitz, Andreas Paul Weber, Max Lieberman, Ludwig Schwerin, Marc Chagall, Alfred Kubin and dozens of other artists. 

The collection belonged to Felix Yehiel-Michael Meinz (1899-1978) who was an art lover and devoted collector, mainly of engravings and lithographs. Meinz belonged to the group of Agudath Israel workers, served as a soldier in the First World War, and later was a partner in the establishment of Bank Alran, which was later assimilated into the Union Bank.


The auction will take place on Tuesday, March 28 at 18:00 p.m Israel time.

Physical examination of the items will be done by prior arrangement only.

** The items can be picked up independently from our address at Masarik 14, Tel Aviv, between Sunday-Thursday 10:00-17:00, or delivered to your home (in Israel) at a cost of 60 NIS.

Sheet size: 39X28 cm.
Good overall condition: a few spots and remnants of a sticker on the edges (not on the print).

Frans Masereel (1889-1972) was a Flemish painter and graphic artist, who worked mainly in France and was known for the beautiful woodcuts he made on a variety of subjects, including political and social subjects such as war and capitalism. During his lifetime he created and published more than 40 wordless novels consisting of prints.
