Ephraim Moshe Lillien - Juda - Berlin 1900
Juda: Gesänge von Börries, Freiherrn von Münchhausen mit Buchschmuck von E. M. Lilien.
Berlin: Egon Fleischel & Co., ca 1900.
A beautiful book with illustrations and decorations by Lilien to the poems of Börries von Münchhausen  (1874-1945), a romantic German poet who began his career as an Orientalist and a passionate pro-Zionist, and later changed his views and became anti-Semitic and even a member of the Nazi Party. This book, in accordance with Lelien's style, is full of images with a Jewish character and Jewish symbols. Cover with the Star of David and the book's name in relief.
German, 25X20 cm. Good overall condition, general wear.
