אלבום זכרונות המתאר את קורות משפחת רכטר 1919-1959
The album is dedicated to Ze'ev Rechter on the 40th anniversary of the Rechter couple's marriage. The album was designed by Dagony Bale (John Bale, who was a relative and also a well-known painter), and includes his illustrations. The album begins in 1919, in the story of the couple's acquaintance, a few days before they boarded the ship "Ruslan", the first ship to arrive in Israel after the First World War. (This ship also included Rachel, Rosa Cohen, Baruch Agadati and others). In 1920 Paula sets up the first kindergarten in Hadera, but the couple is forced to leave because of the fever that attacks them. They move to Haifa and then to Tel Aviv. Esther Raab invites Rechter's first work - a two-story villa, while Paula works in Wilensky's kindergarten. Reuven presents the couple to sculptor Chana Orloff who invites Ze'ev to build her a home in Paris, where they make friends with Nahum and Dora Gutman. In 1933, the Engel House was built on Rothschild Boulevard - the first house built on pillars! Later on, the couple builds his house on Zamenhof Street, which Paula describes as "a street without a building, without a tree, without a road, without any connection to the center ..." Later on the first album describes the history of the family - the birth of the children, including Jacob who continues his father's path. The birth of his son Yonatan, who is Yoni Rechter, Jacob's acquaintance with Hannah Meron and more. At the end of the album - a drawing depicting a building with a basement floor, a floor with pictures of the children and a floor with pictures of the grandchildren. The building, of course, stands on pillars ...
