Anatoli Kaplan's Hag Gadya - Folder of Signed and Numbered Lithographs - Moscow 1961 - This is a Russian version of Had Gadya presented as a Jewish folktale. Published in Moscow 1961. Titles in Yiddish and Russian. Hardcover with 30 plates with colored lithographs, all signed and numbered 31/125. Separated with protective paper. Because these were secular Soviets, they omitted from the story the angel of death and God, and remained with the man who slaughtered the ox. 63X48 cm. Good condition, stains on the folder. Provenance: from the estate of Chaim Topol.
