"Omanut" Publishing, Moscow-Odessa, 1922.
A fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen adapted into Hebrew, about the Emperor of China who falls in love with the song of the Nightingale, and tries to replace it with an artificial bird. Accompanied by beautiful color illustrations. Published as part of the "Gamliel" series, which was one of the first to publish books in Hebrew intended for kindergarten children.
Hebrew, 26X23 cm. Pages in good condition with a few rust spots; cover with light wear and stains.
