Catalog for a JNF Conference - Liverpool 1935 - Palestine Reborn: Bazzar for the Jewish National Fund & Women's Welfare Fund. November 1935, St. George's Hall, Liverpool. A booklet advertising the Jewish National Fund's bazaar held in Liverpool over three days in November 1935. The fair was attended by notables such as Chaim Weizmann, Nahum Sokolov, Lloyd George and Lord Melchett. The booklet includes congratulatory messages written by them, accompanied by their portraits. Also: a detailed schedule of the various events with photographs of their speakers, photographs of the Land of Israel, and a large selection of advertisements. The cover of the booklet shows an illustration of a Jew holding a Torah scroll and a sickle, behind him a Star of David with the inscription ”Zion” and below him a swastika with the inscription in English ”Against God / We will increase the law / We will spread the truth / We will fight against the Jews”. English, 112 pp., 26X19 cm. The pages are in good condition with light wear; the binding has tears, stains and general wear.
