Includes a folding map of the Dead Sea, and engraved plates (some in color) of the landscapes of the Land of Israel. Beautiful edition with three-quarter leather binding and gilt lettering on the spine. Henry Baker Tristram (1822-1906) was an English priest, naturalist, traveler, and ornithologist.
