Proposal for the Establishment of Commercial Television - Herzliya Studios, 1978 - A stenciled document containing a detailed proposal for the establishment of commercial television in Israel. The document was produced by Herzliya Studios, and in its introduction, the studios' CEO Yitzhak Kol writes: ”For the past 5 years I have been making great efforts to convince those who are able and authorized to decide on the establishment of a private commercial television station.” The booklet includes topics such as the establishment of a color broadcasting channel, television channels in the Middle East, private radio and television broadcasts in Britain, commercial broadcasts, and more. It also includes a seminar paper on the subject that was written at the Hebrew University's School of Business Administration. At the end are copies of many letters from government ministers, in which they express support for the initiative. Hebrew, 27X21 cm.
