Herzfeld (1886-1973) was a Zionist pioneer and activist, a member of the Second Aliyah, one of the founders of the ”Achdut HaAvoda” party and the Histadrut, a member of the Knesset and a recipient of the Israel Prize for special contributions to society and the state.
