Damascus Jewry - Letter to Keren Hayesod Regarding the Poor condition of the Community - 1928 - Written on paper of the ”City Committee for the Jews of Damascus”, dated October 1928. The letter is addressed to the national committee of Keren Hayesod, and it states, among other things, ”the bad economic situation that most of the community is currently in.” The letter is signed by Yosef Farhi, head of the Jewish community of Damascus. 27X21 cm.
