Letter from Menachem Ussishkin - On Behalf of the Jewish National Fund - 1935 - Printed on Keren Kayemet LeIsrael (JNF) paper. Dated February 27, 1935. Addressed to Mr. Adler, Chairman of the National Committee of Keren Hayesod, Tel Aviv. The letter is on the subject of the announcement on behalf of the Association of German Immigrants about the lecture by Dr. A. Granovsky - apparently the Zionist activist Avraham Granot. About this, Ussishkin writes ”In my opinion, there is no similarity between the action that Keren Hayesod did in Jerusalem at the time and the announcement that you are complaining about. The invitation that I was outraged about was sent on behalf of Keren Hayesod, while the announcement was printed on behalf of the Association of German Immigrants and not by Keren Kayemet [...]” At the end of the letter there is one line in Ussishkin's handwriting, and his signature. Reasonable condition: stains, tears and imperfections.
