A journey to Palestine made in 1873 with the intention of comparing ”The Land” with ”The Book”, by examining the topography. Includes some maps and dozens of engravings. Cover with gold illustrations, gilt page margins. At the end of the book is a variety of illustrated advertisements. English, 223 pp., 28X21 cm. Good overall condition: rust stains on pages; general wear and a few tears in the cover.
