The study of Jerusalem by Pierotti (1820-1875), who was an Italian engineer and archaeologist, engineer of the city of Jerusalem between 1854-1861. The first volume is the research text and the second volume includes 62 lithographic plates of illustrations and drawings, including sites in Jerusalem. (Originally there were 63 plates - plate no. 1 missing). English, 339 pp. (text volume), 39X30 cm. Wear and tears to the covers; text pages in good condition; plates in good condition with light wear such as small tears and rust spots; several pages detached.
