An illustrated journey that includes a map of Israel, and various sites such as Caesarea, Tel Aviv, the market in Acre and the Biblical Zoo. The book also surveys various customs and types such as a tsabbar, an ultra-Orthodox and a Bedouin smoking a hookah. Spectacular color illustrations by Miroslav Sasek (1916-1980), a Czech illustrator and writer known for his series of books on cities and countries around the world. English, 60 pp., 32X23 cm. The book's pages are in good condition; the cover and dust-jacket have wear and tears.
