The film is based on a play by Leo Tolstoy, about a woman who remarries believing her husband is dead, but it turns out that he faked his suicide. In 1929, the play was adapted into a film in Germany and the Soviet Union, starring the Soviet actor Vsevolod Pudovkin and the Italian actress Maria Jacobini. Size: 100X70 cm.
