Perouse, Maurelle, & Vancouver's Voyages - Volume with 3 Engravings, 1 Chart, and 3 Voyages Detailed - This historic volume details three voyages, bound together and is Jean Francois Galaup de La Perouse's A Voyage Round the World: which was performed in the Years 1785, 1786, 1787, and 1788... Abridged from the Original French Journa... To which are added: A Voyage from Manilla to California, by Don Antonio Maurelle: and an Abstract of the Voyage and Discoveries of the late G. Vancouver. This first edition abridgement was printed in Edinburgh in 1798 by J. Moir for T. Brown. The volume is bound in original paper-backed boards with orange paper spine label with ”Stormont pattern” marbled paper sides. There is an engraved folding chart by A. G. Whitehead showing the tracks of La Perouse's ships. There are three engravings by Daniel Lizars entitled: Inhabitants and monuments of Easter Island, View of Cavite, & Massacre of de Langle.
