The work was printed in Paris in 1962 by Editions Cercle d'Art. Wilhem Boeck had written an introduction of the work that was translated by Jacques Chavy. Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, and theater designer. Most of his career was spent in France.
