Picasso's Linogravures - Volume with 45 Linocuts - This beautiful volume with 45 linocuts was printed after the originals done by Pablo Picasso and is entitled Linogravures . The work was printed in Paris in 1962 by Editions Cercle d'Art. Wilhem Boeck had written an introduction of the work that was translated by Jacques Chavy. The volume is in Italian-style folio, publisher's raw linen, and slipcase illustrated in color after Picasso. The 45 linocuts are printed on color on heavy vellum. Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, and theater designer. Most of his career was spent in France. He was one of the most eminent artists of the 20th century. He is arguably the most important figure to art and art movements in the 1900s.
