The work was published in Augsburg between 1731 and 1740 by the Heirs of Jeremias Wolff. The engravings feature text below in French and German. Kleiner's work is considered a masterpieces of Baroque architecture. He illustrated the Belvedere Palace and Gardens in Vienna.
