Wendel's Nederlandsche Flora en Pomona - Volume with 41 Fruit Chromolithographs - This first edition volume with 41 fine fruit chromolithographs is from Abraham Jacobus Wendel's Nederlandsche Flora en Pomona . The work was published in Groningen by Wolters between 1876 and 1879. It was edited by K. Ottolander, A. Koster, and C. de Vos. The volume is bound in original decorative red cloth, gilt. This is only one of two volumes with 41 lovely fruit chromolithographs. Wendel lithographed the plates from the work. Abraham Jacobus Wendel (1826-) was a Dutch lithographer, draughtsman, and scientific botanical and paleontological illustrator. He produced work under AW, AJJW, and A. J. Wendel.
