Sponsel - 7 Poster Lithographs - This lithographed poster is from Jean-Louis Sponsel's Das Moderne Plakat . The workwas published in Dresden in 1897 by Verlag von Gehard Kuhtmann. The illustrations were from noted artist including Alphonse Mucha, Jules Cheret, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Theophile Steinlen, Eugene Grasset, Will Bradley, Louis Rhead, and others. The publication was Germany's work at the height of the ”poster craze” in a similar style to Paris's Les Affiches Illustrees .
