Amerique Album with 27 Engravings of the Americas - This fascinating portfolio includes 27 engravings on America. The album is title Amerique and was published in Paris circa 1865 by F. Chardon Aine. The steel engraved plates are loose in publisher's red half-cloth portfolio with gilt title on the upper cover. The engravings include 25 buildings or landscapes and 2 portraits completed by Outhwaite, Willmann, Colin, Lalaisse, Aubert, Delannoy, Nargeot, and Foulquier. The illustrations were done by by Lebreton, Noel, Fichot, Willmann, and Janet. Included in the views are Niagara Falls, Louisville, New Orleans, Memphis, Hudson River, the White House, Havana, Montevideo, Verazruz, Lima, Buenos Aires, and Rio de Janeiro.
