Apollo Moon Missions 1969 HERE IS THE MOON... ...as seen by the men who were there, the astronauts of Apollo missions 11 and 12. The pictures were selected from original negatives, photographed from the Apollo command modules and on the lunar surface. With dedication from the album's producer, Anthony J. A. Bryan, to Dan Tolkowsky: ”With very best wishes to an old spitfire pilot who got promoted”. Introductory page and twenty photographs measuring approximately 20 x 20 cm, glued onto cardboard sheets measuring 23 x 23 cm. The glue that attached the cardboard sheets to the spine has dried and they separate from the album as soon as the pages are flipped through. Moisture marks on the cover and on the cardboard sheets, the condition of the photographs is good. The album was produced as a souvenir for the participants of the Apollo Project and was not put up for sale. The original NASA photographic film from the Apollo missions is some of the most important and valuable film in existence. It is securely stored in a freezer, to help maintain its condition, in Building 8 at Johnson Space Center, Houston.
