Russian silver box - Russian box with agate, enamel, and silver trim and decoration. The oval box has a silver-gilt base with an agate bowl and a holder made of silver-gilt pearl elements and shell elements with pearls. The silver-gilt lid features green enamel, a green stone on top, and is surrounded by silver-gilt, partially gilt twisted elements with pearls, a rim with gilt shell appliqué, and settings with red/orange stones. The gilt interior is marked: 519-B-53 IV. II. Size: 12x9x8cm. Approx. 437 grams. Some pearls are missing, the gilt is somewhat worn, otherwise in good condition.
